Linux Problem with apache2 and php5

I made the instalation of apache2 + php5 + phpmyadmin.

But the apache can not read the php codes

I am using ubuntu 14.04 64 bits

sudo apt-get install apache2-mod-php5

Not sure if that is the exact package name but something like that

Have you tried entering the full url of a php file? If that doesn't work, have you added the php module to the apache conf file (usually it's there, just commented) ?
