problem with players connecting

I have a problem with other players connecting to my server, i asked my friend to try and see if he could log onto my server.

He received this error
"cannot connect to the game server.
Error: connection timed out. (10060)

can anyone tell me how to fix this so players can connect to my server?
im using tfs 8.54 0.3.1.6 crying damson i think it is.

Have you port forwarded correctly? all ports open? you have got your own database right?
retrace your steps and see what one of these you are missing >> also make sure he using right Client. lol

i've fixed the problem, he didnt have his ip changer set to 8.54 lol
