Problem with Remere`s on 9.86 Tibia

Hey guys. I recently made a tibia server and downloaded remere`s map editor. I tried tibia 9.6 and it had some error message telling me to update to 9.86. Now when I run remere`s I get the following message:

could not locate tibia.dat and or tibia.spr, please navigate to your tibia 9.6 installation folder.

How do I get remere`s to work with 9.86?

You need to tell your map editor where Tibia 9.86 is located, simple as that

i already tried that and it just asks me to locate the files again

You need to direct it to your "9.6" Tibia directory as the error message indicates:

could not locate tibia.dat and or tibia.spr, please navigate to your tibia 9.6 installation folder.

But I think that's what you were saying you tried first... maybe I'm wrong though :/
