suggestion:

the 2 sqms west of the stairs, you use mountain to fill the hole.
fix sprites that's identicl with the walls instead, that will make it look more complete.
right now it looks like a bad and desperate attempt to make it look like a game version of reality. no offense thou!

But else, great work! you but down a lot of effort in that and that's something you should!

Well, in pokemon there could be many explanations for this.
Couldn't a fearow who was flying over the city carrying some grass for his/her nest drop some?

Looking goood, I wish you would not reuse those sprites. Would make it unique.
