The PvP blessing is like how death penalty is now in Tibia, though you will only lose the PvP blessing if killed by a player.
You have to recieve at least 40% PvP damage for the last 60 seconds for the PvP blessing to take in place.
Example:
A character of level 50 will lose 1 level and from then on half a level more every 50 levels. This means, a character of level 100 will lose 1.5 levels, with level 150 character you will lose 2 levels and with a character of level 200 you will lose 2.5 levels and so on. So a character of level 180 will approximately lose 2.3 levels.
Level 100's loses 4.5% (1.5 level) of their total Experience without promotion. With promotion they would lose 3.15% (4.5*(1 - 0.3)). Each blessing will decrease the loss by 8% (previousLoss * (1 - 0.08)) for each blessing.
Though all 5 blessings is merged to 1 blessing only.
* If level is less than or equal to 30, the price of PvP blessing is 5,000 gold total.
* If level is greater than 30 and less than 260, the price of PvP blessing is 5,000 plus 500 gold for each level above 30.
* If level is greater or equal to 260, the PvP blessing will be constant at 120,000 gold.
E.g. level 259 = (229 * 500) + 5000 = 119,500 gold.
PvE Blessing and Death Penalty
Note: PvE = Player vs. Environment, so you will only lose the PvE blessing if killed by a creature (yes, a monster).
The PvE blessing is like how it was before in Tibia.
With no promotion nor blessings you will lose 10% exp/skill/magic upon death.
With promotion but no blessings you will lose 7%.
So with promotion and the PvE blessing you will have a 2% loss.
* If level is less than or equal to 30, the price of PvE blessing is 30,000 gold total.
* If level is greater than 30 and less than 120, the price of PvE blessing is 30,000 plus 1,000 gold for each level above 30.
* If level is greater or equal to 120, the PvE blessing will be constant at 120,000 gold.
E.g. level 119 = (89 * 1000) + 30000 = 119,000 gold.
