What makes a map "good" other than details?

He mapped me some maps some times ago, they were perfect!

Raw is good for shaping anda creativity, as blez said i guess structure and how the content blends to the environment. Too much "hey look at me" parts in a piece ruins a great map. It's fine for showoff but for playable maps it's all about content balance
