If you would like to sell your characters, that's great but before a thread is opened, you should add this things to help the buyer feel more secured.
To make a buyer feel more secured, all you gotta do is proof that the character is yours. A great way to do it is by showing it throughout tibia cast which can be downloaded HERE - as this will at least secure the buyer from the part "Is it fake or not?", before having any kind of deal with you.
There are two ways of proving it is your character; The first idea is that a mod should approve that it is the owner's char (He views it throughout tibia cast and says if the character is real or fake. (Keep in mind that he's only approving that the owner owns the character that he's trying to sell, don't blame him if you got scammed because he's not saying the seller is trustworthy, just verifying that the character is real.)
Also another way would be for the buyer to double check using tibia cast so he can approve aswell that the character isn't fake.
Another method for those who don't want to use tibia cast would be:
Write a comment on your tibia character that you're selling, (While you're making the thread, add the current comment of your character that says "xxxx" and then add the new comment saying the current date in which you've created the thread, example 10/10/2011
With this two options it will save the seller time by not having to show the tibia cast to EVERY single person that wants to verify it's not fake as well as making the buyer feel safer
Also a small recommendation from me would be that once you decided you want to buy that character, wait at least 2 weeks to verify that the character isn't hacked and the so called "owner" is trying to sell it fast before the real owner logs into the account.
Thank you, enjoy yourselves
