I've installed OTCv8 proxy system on 90+ OTSes and 500+ VPSes in last 12 months.
They all worked great until around 2025-07.
IDK, if
https://tempest.net/ is an answer, but at least it worked once in last 2 months, where all OTCv8 configurations - even some with 30+ OVH VPSes failed. More information below.
They are both useless.
OTCv8 proxy system on/off does not matter.
Hetzner anti-ddos is/was useless.
OVH anti-ddos was great 2+ months ago (since 2019 and OTCv8 proxy), but it is useless now. There are new attacks that takes OVH down in seconds and it keeps it down for hours.
You can try tempest.net. It's 80-400$ for dedic, but you can get pretty good 80$ dedic with DDoS protection and 10 gb/s network.
Just make sure you configure firewall - in tempest.net panel - to some low number of packets per second (symmetric firewall!) per connection like 50-200 packets per second.
Only system that was able to stand
raw.exe DDoS attacks in last 2 months was single 10 gb/s dedicated machine in tempest.net.
Tempest.net has some servers at USA east coast.
// OFFTOP: You cannot use tempest.net VPS/dedic as OTCv8 haproxy server.
It's against Tempest.net rules and they can just delete your server anytime - I know some people that paid for a month and lost server in 2 days for proxing OTCv8 proxy packets.
All 500+/1000+ BR OTSes (ex.
rubinot.com.br) host in Neep datacenter:
https://neep.com.br/
It's similar to Tempest, but they require much more complicated anti-DDoS config than tempest.net. You have to manually (or by API + some script) list all IPs that are allowed to connect to OTS. All other IPs/players are banned on their anti-ddos/firewall.
