Linux Remere's map editor

For some reason i just cant launch remeres on my pc it doesnt give me any reason it just wont open and i followed all the steps on the README for linux, also tried the rme-install but it just opens the terminal and insta-closes

Can anyone help me please?

Use Wine. For me the linux rmre didn't work either and I had to use wine. It has some bugs when you use it so you need backups of your map so it doesn't mess it up if/when it crashes.
