Is it possible to clean the map from specific items in a easy way?

For example my map has crossbows spawned in the map ground, i want to remove all of them fast and easy.
I know there is a "Find Item" function, but then i have to delete all those 1000 crossbows manually by targeting them and hitting the delete button.

Anyone knows?

I'd select the crossbow.
Zoom far out.
Hold shift and control.
Click and drag from top left corner to bottom right corner.
Release mouse.

What this would do is delete every crossbow in a selected box region.
