When I open it, it says "Could not locate Tibia.dat and/or Tibia.spr, please navigate to your Tibia 8.50 installation folder."

But it doesn't show it when I try looking for it.

What exactly do I do?

not tibiaclient or tibia
on ots-list.org it works

You need to install tibia 8.50 i got same problem but i fix it.. Listen then you install tibia you can change name right ?.. Then you type the name of the map 8.50 , then it work, if i have help you can you rep me !

Where do I type the name of the map?

do I add 8.50 after I type the name of the map?

go in RME -> file -> preferences -> client versions -> make sure "check file signatures" IS NOT ON.
now it works

(PS: this is fixed in SVN, if you download latest RME SVN and compile)

It's still saying

"Could not locate Tibia.dat and/or Tibia.spr, please navigate to your Tibia 8.50 installation folder."

and when I go to file > open, and go to the map, still doesn't work...

Simply, Uninstall your Tibia 8.50 ( When you log into REAL tibia It updates your tibia.dat, Wich Map editer then says "No this is not 8.50 , Sorry)

So just uninstall tibia, Then re-install Should fix your problem if not, MAke sure your using a 8.50 map editor

What i did is, i found an 8.5 sprite in the "others" of raw pallete and placed it down, then right clicked and selected wallbrush, fixed for me
