Remote desktop problem

Hello, i dont know why when i open the remote desktop my PC goes too slow. Just this program makes my PC slow, i can open whatever, a lot of programs but exactly when i open remote desktop my pc start to slow down and i have to shutdown it, i cant even shut down with windows, i have to shutdown directly.


Any clues?
my specifications:
Sony vaio e-series
4 gb RAM
500 hard drive
Intel i3 M330 @ 2.13GHZ
Display adapter: Intel Graphics Media Accelerator HD

Do you use another remote control program or the normal one provided by Windows? (run > mstsc)

Ok, all I can think of right now is the following:

• Your host is far away from your location causing lags;
• You got other programs open which use alot of CPU (tibia, cs, WoW for example);
• You got low priorities set on the remote control (change this by running the remote, open up taskmanager (CTRL + ALT + DEL), go to the processes tab and set priorities to high or realtime)

But its too weird because i have nothing opened, my connection to remote desktop with other programs such as nvc viewer etc doesnt cause me problems, but the thing is slows down MY COMPUTER and i have to shut it down pressing the power button 10 seconds because i cant even hit the shutdown button because of the lagg...

Maybe you shouldn't click on internet links that says "Download this for free Pr0n" They usually slow your comp down

In fact my computer is very clean, i have norton antivirus, i can run like 5 tibias without lagg, everything ok... just that problem on the RDC, i have to say my laptop is pretty fast...

Maybe you should try changing the batteries in your remote? It usally works for me when I get stuck on Disney Channel.

Northon antivirus is the biggest virus you can get. Rip it off your PC asap.

If u want to be as little laggy as possible use VNC but ull have to setup a VNC server at ur host place
And dont use Norton Antivirus, It's the worst shittiest laggiest crap ever made

For the ppl who said me to get more ram, bros, i say i can easily run a lot of programs at the same time, but just when i open the rdc, it start to slow down a lot!!, i tried with others antivirus but i just cant get it to work :/.
