Replacing Sprites in Nekiro Downgrade TFS 1.5 8.0 - Compatibility with Newer Client Sprites

Hi,


I’m running a Nekiro Downgrade TFS 1.5 8.0 server and I would like to update the sprite files to newer ones (13.0 and up) I understand that TFS 1.5 is designed for version 8.0, but I’m wondering if it’s possible to replace the old sprites with newer ones while ensuring the server and client still work together properly.

Has anyone tried this before? Are there any specific compatibility issues between TFS 1.5 8.0 and newer sprite formats? Would I need to modify the server code or the client files in any way to make everything work smoothly?

I was looking at it, had the same issue, and as faar as I've understood, you would have to do it in ObjectBuilder and ItemEditor sprite by sprite, item by item, and the rest doesn't even matter (but perhaps I'm wrong, idk)

(https://otland.net/threads/how-to-add-custom-sprites-8-0-client-and-make-them-work.301907/) - there you go, I've written a step by step guide about how to do it and yeah, as faar as I know, you have to add item by item (but I'm not an expret in this matter)
