Hey guys! Recently I downloaded GIMP and I learned alot of stuff. So I wanted to help you out here. You can post images, avatars ..anything that you want to get resized and transparent.Please note this thread is not about editing your avatar, it's about resizing it and doing simple stuff to it. So shall we begin? Post it :D
 
Just a curious question, I've tried to edit my avatar with photoshop. Removed the background and saved as PNG, But when Im uploading to OTland it's getting a white background again any suggestion? :ninja:
 
Try to save in other format. Like gif or jpeg. In gimp (that I use), you have to export picture and save.

Yeah, as Fresh said. Save it as JPEG or GIF.
 
Thanks, gonna try it out.

Edit: Saved it as JPEG/GIF, the background is transparented when Im looking at it but when uploading here it's getting a white background again. :o
