What is the point in disabling reps if they dont give any privileges.

Before rep was removed, I saw retired people be gone for 2 years with as many rep bars you could get.. the rep bar doesn't tell if anyone is active or not

Yea I just mean active members who are helping/contributing others now would receive rep.. while those who left and are inactive would not receive very much from people, if you get what I mean.

yeah, it would work for now but in a year or so the rep would have to be reset or we're back on square one again

well if it would work now.. why not try it? and then in a year if its determined it has to be reset then just delete it again? But if its cool then why not keep it?

i've always liked rep system...
