Linux Requirements for RealMap and 250+ players

Hi, I wanted to know the VPS requirements to have an OT with 250+ players and with no lag (real map, otx 2.32), the server I use is Emporia.

The vps has 100 mb of internet and ubuntu 10.04 (linux)

I don't know about the players thing, but to run a real map that takes about 3 GB or more, you need a 64 bit system to handle more than that because 32 bit systems are optimized for <= 3 GB of RAM, so yah 4 or more GB of ram should do good. And you better go for Linux (See DistroWatch.com: Put the fun back into computing. Use Linux, BSD.).

Real map ~100 MB, you need 4GB RAM (better 5GB), if you set a global save for every 24/h and clean for 2h.

I reccomend Hosteam , CuddiHosting.pl - Serwery Dedykowane, VPS , the best Polish data centers with DDoS protection, and cheap, there is a english support just open the "Kontakt" page and write your question.

Nono u didn't understand me, I dont want to know a host, I wanna know just the vps requirements... (ram and nucleos) that I have to have to do not have lag with 250+ players
