I have this script I am working on where it uses a basic table that is the size of the screen this table called grid is the default table a template which i will use for all my scripts. What am trying to do is change the values within the table but keep the original table as is and only update the x table at d's v indexes. The table d which is passed to the setSequence method its value is the animation table these sub tables are positions or indexes of the grid table to change. Unfortunately when I do this it keeps the value of x through out the life of the loop as if x was always set to these values instead of incrementally as its applied with the loop. Not really sure how to resolve this.
Here is my test code
If I set x to 0 at d's v value then it sets all the tables to 0 as if i didn't set any values at all.
Maybe I have to use more than 1 method? Maybe I have to copy the original table 1st to x at each index equal to the animation sequence? Then change and return the table?

I tried copying the table at x amount of animations and then using that return value as a temporary table to manipulate the values but when I change 1 value in any 1 of those tables it changes all of them as if they are linked together.

I tried copying the table at x amount of animations and then using that return value as a temporary table to manipulate the values but when I change 1 value in any 1 of those tables it changes all of them as if they are linked together.
