Hello folks. Today I talked to the guy who developed the oldest open tibia server that has ever been done/still running up to day. The server I am talkign about is fallenheros.servegame.com.

The owner "Toast" officially stated that the server will no longer be running.
I dont think a bunch of people give a fuck about it. Anyways. I was one of the last players palying it since mid 2006. I met people inside I met in real life afterwards too. some of them turned to my best friends in my life. I am happy that I made this experience. Eventho we were not able to finish the last quest, known as Death quest ever(tried for 5 years.) Or that I couldnt manage to get the entire engame gear(stuck in the same period of hunting spawn for 2 years.) This server was the best gaming experience ever. Thank you @Toast.

Fallenheros is not the oldest server ever, its only significance in age is the fact they're the longest running server according to OTServlist.
I may have played it back then, but it didn't appeal to me. I spent my time playing Utopia, OTChaos, and JSynon around 2006.

Props to them for keeping it running for such a long time though.

You played JSynon too? That server was so amazing.. I'd give anything to be able to play it for just a day :|

Funny story though, Josh Synon actually lived about 10 minutes from my house and was friends with a bunch of my friends.
I didn't know about this until my friends (who introduced me to Tibia) started playing the server a few months after it opened.

Very weird moment, that server was so much fun indeed. I had a bunch of characters on there but can't remember the names.
If anything, it's probably Pozeidon/Poseidon or Grim II/Grim.
 
Fallenheros was an amazing server, it was certainly one of the best at the time. It was way ahead of any another server I had knowledge of and I had a whole lot of fun playing there. Toast sure did have a lot of dedication, even when the server had 0-10 people playing he still kept it up! Wonderful experience I had.
