Hi
so i have a problem RME i can't load my .dat .spr files in rme i have no idea why it's showing old tibia objects like example you have building but rme shows fires and red dots and etc can someone tell me what's wrong?

Solution

Can you tell me exactly what you've tried so far?
I've faced this problem many times and I'm almost certain it's due to the reason I mentioned.

Try going from scratch, remove all .otb/.dat/.spr associated with RME and make sure it loads your new ones this time. Double-check everything that you're loading into RME to make sure you are loading the versions you want to be loading.
Happened to me a few times that I was sure I was loading the newest .dat/.spr when I was actually putting in the old ones that I had copied from a wrong folder.

It's showing that probably because you loaded a new .otb file with more new IDs, but the dat/spr file aren't loaded properly so it defaults to those weird sprites.
Go to preferences and change the folder where it loads the dat/spr to the folder that contains your newest version, make sure that all 3 of them (otb, dat, spr) of your newest version are being loaded.

Also, in older versions of RME there is a bug where it won't load dat/spr from the specified folder in preferences, but from the first folder it ever loaded them from.
If you want to change the folder, you have to remove the .spr/.dat from the folder it's currently loading them from, at which point it will ask you to locate a new folder.
