RMe Error

Yo! I wanted to start getting into mapping in my free time (I know, another mapper, great .____.) but when I try to open the RME.exe it says "The Procedure entry point _except_handler4_common could not be located in the dynamic link library msvcrt.dll"

I tried almost everything I could find I scanned my dlls and everything but nothing works, does anyone know? (Probably a noob question but ohh well ;d)

you are using windows xp right ?
try to find and rename or delete a file in system32 named dwmapi.dll, else try to use an other msvcrt.dll.

Delete wsock32.dll . and it will work.

yeap as ghost said but remember you need to open rme from program file folder
so after deleting the wsock32.dll send shortcut of rme app to desktop

because if you try to run from other icon on desktop it will repair and send error again
