I don't remember the settnings in RME but try to change graphic settnings if you can? Just change to something else.

What are your system specs? Is that Windows 7? You can find that out by going to the start menu and then right click on computer and then select properties. Take a screenshot of the whatever pops up and post it here. It's possible that you might not have enough memory to load the map or maybe your hard drive is dying. I've seen this type of behavior in other programs when either of the two issues exist.
