I've had this idea for a while and now I've finally decided to make it reality.
But let me explain this from the beginning...
After playing on several servers, such as Classictibia and Tibianic. I've noticed that even when there's over 200 players, only 20-30ish of those are active in the wars. What does the rest do? They spend their days chattin', chillin', making runes, training. Occasionally they solve quests and look for epic quests containing puzzles and riddles.
So I thought, what if there was a server built for those players?
A couple of features, like a second faster mana if you sit on a chair while mana sitting and so on. Food sorts gives a bit of instant hp and mana regeneration apart from the long-term mana regeneration, lower too higher quality food, like cheese, bread, meat, dragon hams, fire mushrooms will give different amount of "instant gained" hp and mana, which means players will be out there looking for rare high-quality food. The amounts won't be high, but let's say you eat 4 hams before getting full and gain an additional 20 mana in total, compared to eating 4 brown mushrooms, and gain an additional 30 mana, thus you gained an additional 10 mana compared to hams for the same amount of time you regenerate.
A server which is based off the "Epic Quest" and "Community" concept. Sure, there will be wars, people can't stay out of conflicts, but these war will be cause of proper reasons between groups of good friends, and not only because it's fun to war between two teams of people who doesn't know or whom doesn't trust each other.
Every area should have a roleplay-related story, solutions to quests will be found through reading books, asking npcs for clues.
Also I've thought of a new idea, which'll keep staff members motivated aswell. Various members of this supposed staff, will create their own small quests which will be very storydepth, the someone or the rest of the staff will get to know all of this story behind the quest, but not the solution.
These other staff members, will have their own "Living NPCs" with a background story (Which they may make up themselves ofc) whom must always stay in-character. And the job of these are to be found of the players, and follow these players on quests, where they can provide tips, information, stories and such as they go, since (Pre-written) books will be found during the quests, to fill in information not known beforehand. This way staff members will compete with each other, giving each other thrilling experiences, who's quest will be the most intelligent and storydepth quest?
Though in the end, the ones too solve the quest is the players. The "Living NPC" is only there to act as a guide, like a Deckard Cain from the Diablo stories.
Wars won't be forbidden, though they won't be encouraged at all.

Ofc, to make this reality soon and not in years, I'll need help.
Primarily I need mappers, a scripter would be nice, a coder too.
But most of all I need other players with a burning passion for roleplay.
Feel free too apply below or over PM, with ideas of what you could do to contribute.
Currently, there's no decided rate, most likely monsters will be custom or the original ones will be edited, therefore the exprate would be 1xish, it'll be based of the latest Directx based client, and map will be custom.
So to sum it up;
Looking for people with passion for roleplay, to create a "1x" server with a custom map, the client version will probably be 8.71 unless cipsoft release a newer DirectX client before moving on too flash.
