router problems

hi just recently my connection to my router started being dumb it continues to shut off then turn back on. its started doing this yesterday. i was wondering if anyone could help me... is my net under attack? also my sis's comp which is connected to the same router is working and doesnt have any problems

it seems like it stoped happening(i closed all ports and erased all host redirects) what do i do next time i get attacked i dont want to close my server again.... i did this time cause i was planning on closing anyways, because i wanted to do some updates

plz tell me what to do when hackers try to mess with my comp/server

if i use firewall i have to open up the same ports meaning they can still atk me(firewall ports)
