Same monster with several options of looktype

Hello, I've seen some time ago a custom server with own sprites. I was curious because I have seen wolf monster with grey fur, then same wolf monster with same hp, same dmg and same speed but with black fur. They were spawning in few random colours and in random quantity. I thought that server owners just created few monsters with same script but different sprite. But they didn't. Does someone know how to create mosnters with few sprites aviable?

tldr. One monster with 3 sprites. Each time he spawns he have different sprite

For those like Golden Dragons and shit they're custom, but probably nowadays can edit another way, IDK
