Same old log in problem

Hi :D

Im about to open a server but the problem is that i cant log in on it when use my owen ip in config.lua and yes ofc i use 127.0.0.1 in ip changer on. I had this problem befor but i fixed it but now I cant remember how:$ please help

I have opend port 7171, 7172, 80 and 3306. Is it something in the database i should change? in that case what and were?

It's an 8.54 client if that is something special

Try using your computers local IP (192.168.X.X) instead of 127.0.0.1. And there should be no need for you to open up port 3306.

By the way, I'll delete your new thread. There should be no reason to have two of the same topic, better just bump this once (only once in 24 hours though).

You should substitute the X's for your local IP. I am unaware of what your local IP really is, hence the X's. If you too are uncertain or even unaware, you may find out by opening the terminal and typing ipconfig (ifconfig if you are using a UNIX based operative system).

Oh, I see. Hehe. If you are not even reaching the character list, you should stick with 127.0.0.1. What is the error you get when trying to access a certain character?

All right, have you tried connecting with your global IP once it has also been set in your configuration? And, when you're trying to connect with 127.0.0.1 when your global IP has been set, what is the error you get in your Tibia client?

Might it be that your firewall is disallowing it from accepting connections? Try disabling your firewall, just for testing purposes.

Don't worry about it. If you have still haven't had any luck later tonight (like in 4-5 hours from now), you may send me a private message and I can have a look through TeamViewer (a remote desktop software) instead.
