Server Lags

Hi,My ots lags everyday around 17:00-18:00 GMT +0 for about 5 minutes and each online player gets kicked but they are stil online ingame,could anyone please tell me what could cause this?

u get too many packages mybe? dos attacked?

Computer updates on? Server save on? Someone else using pc heavily at that time? As War said if not those it could be a Ddos or just dos attack (most likely dos)

dos sound right not a ddos... all right i will test to block ping requests then
The computer aint running heavy so it aint the problem...

Those lags got fixed but now some fucking no life kid is ddosing the server,does anyone know how to stop ddos attacks?

you need good firewall thats the way how u stop ddos on some way..depens on ddos
