or maybe a new server to split the botters (not a crap hardcore pvp)

See I think that would be a good idea :) but ether way they would need more people on there staff

As I'm one of the responsible persons for tutors, may I ask who you're calling for crappy?

Cuz all they do is mute people in help channel.

You should say: Cuz all players do is trolling and spamming in help-channel.

I think the reason is only trolling and spamming in help-channel. People like them won't learn to be polite I guess.
If any of them mute someone, there is one reason always and that reason is that people uses help-channel innapropiately.

So, you're saying that we mute without any reason? No way.
Some players just attack to tutors directly, without any reason, just for fun which isn't any fun for me or any for another guy who understand this situation.

Okay, so according to the ShadowCores Rules as stated on the website: ( Rules - ShadowCores )

"Third-party software that performs actions for you (also known as Bots)
Performing actions such as killing monsters or casting spells while being idle from the game is never tolerated.

Keep in mind that using third-party software to control at least one character while you are logged into other characters will always mean that you are idle on at least one of them, as you can not actively play on several characters at the same time. In such situations, all of the characters you are logged into are violating the rules.

Interesting note: It is not illegal to use a bot to assist your gameplay as long as you aren't idle from the game and it doesn't violate any other rule."

According to this section of the rules, botting your character IS NOT ALLOWED. However, 800+ "players" bot and yet the GM's do nothing about it?
So my question is, Why do you post this rule if you're not going to enforce it?
If you take a look around some of the life threads in the forum, there are many people ADMITTING that they bot their characters, and yet again, no action is seen from Gamemasters. So my final question is: Is botting allowed or not? Because even though the rules say that it is not, GM's show otherwise.

EXACTLY +1 arkadenz.

the only conclusion i came up with is they're too greedy, just like CIP. maybe they will ban a few botters here and there to keep the population happy, but then again if the botters paid for the bot they are going to pay for donates.

Yea, that's why we have NOTHING in our shop that can give players too big of an advantage.
But you are right - since we are so greedy, maybe we should add things that will make it better for players who chose to support us by spending money. How about custom houses with private spawns? Some kind of premium account (that you have to pay for) and a waiting list after 1000 players - but not for premium accounts. What more could we add... EXP SCROLLS? Some really expensive and OP weapon that give you a huge advantage over other players? What more could it be.. I mean, since we are so greedy I'm surprised we haven't added these things to the shop yet since they would all give major advantages to them who chose to buy them, and therefore more people would chose to buy them. Because really, we are so greedy.

Do you know what risk one takes when assigning a GM? Do you know how much we actually have to trust that person? No matter how few commands a new GM gets assigned, that person and that person alone is given the power to fuck up the entire server. We run one of the most popular OT-server through time, and you still question why we don't just give GM positions to random players?

I cant believe people still shit on the hosters, they host a good server so appreciate it or get the fuck out

I think you are getting off topic here. We are talking about botters, and I ask once again, Is it allowed to bot your character??

well, why dont you fight against them? if you know they're 100% afk why dont you bring some noobchar or what ever and kill them? is there something more enjoyable? killing an afk botter lvl 200+?

most of the botters 100% afk, die every day by players over and over. there are 100ways to kill a 100%afk botter easily, i did that much times, and i can tell you, i dont remember last time that guy come back again to afk bot on that place.

dafuq i just read??????????? :((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((

fail quote but idc

Botters are not a problem, people with lack of knowledge are the problem. I can always find a place to hunt whether I'm team hunting or solo, of course sometimes I am forced to leave a resp with certain monsters and go hunt somewhere else where exp/h and loot isn't as great as in the place I planned to hunt at, but at least I can hunt there on my own and I'm not getting annoyed by AFK botters, so like I said at the begining.. botters are not a problem whether they are AFK or not AFK, it's the people with lack of knowledge who are the problem but this problem can be easily solved with a help of Tibiawikia

All of you seem to be missing the point, according to the rules, AFK botting is NOT ALLOWED, I'm not looking for ways to take care of them or other places to hunt. My question is simple, and I want an answer from a GM. For the third time : Is AFK botting allowed? If not, why don't you ban botters? (I know at least one GM is reading this, but they choose to ignore it and act like they never saw it)

They just don't care

Thats not the point. They have rl lifes too remember thats my first point, secondly they keep on working towards making the server better with updates and shit, you cant expect them to sit all day and jail botters. Take care of that yourself and stop complaining
