"Server under maintenance"

Hi.

Sometimes i get this error, "Server under maintenance". The server is running smooth but no one can login.
Can it be DDOS attacks?

I think this is happening while the server is saving and cleaning the map.

but its for hours, i always have to close the server to make it work again...

It might be you global events closing connections ever so often, try checkin there.

We had a similar problem a few weeks ago. The server hang when trying to clean the map.
We never found the actual root of the problem as this was quite complex.
The server had a long decaying time for corpses and so there were thousands of new corpses after a short time - maybe that was the cause.
Didn't happen again after we reduced the decaying time so there are less corpses on the map.

We now got rid of map cleaning altogether. It's just slow and annoying.

Okey, thanks all. I've deleted the clean in global.. just hope it works ^.^

Items will spam your map if you just disable map cleaning
You need something which removes your items - even if it's just a server reboot every night.
