Serverloft?

Hello guys,

Anyone here using/used the dedicated server company Serverloft?
Please tell me how it is going/how it went for you.
Did you have any problem you've solved?
Do you recommend me something?
Please tell me... I'd REALLY appriciate it

i have used it once, never again

they dont have good support and they blocked so i couldnt host my server at 200 players online -.-

And the cancelling on their server is quite annyoing... They insisted that only way to cancel your server was to send fax to them...
It took me like week to convice that in our city we dont got old systems like fax... So I was able to cancel it via email + scanned copy of my drivers licence.

So I would say dont use them, theyr customer support sux and theyr server prices are high...

Atm using Hetzner they got quite good computers for not so big fee.

I'm unfortunately new to them. Am i supposed to choose RootServer vServer or what?

So now when I have an experienced hoster here online ;P I'm going to ask a few questions, can you hold for a minute?

How does the port openings work?
Do I need to send critical information such as creditcard photos via email?
Did you have any problem you've solved? How did you solve the problem?
I guess you're using a donation system, which? Daopay? They're taking up to 60% of your income. Do you still get enough money?
