Setting up a vps!

I got windows 7, NOT linux

I dont know if this is the right section.

But ive juste bought level 1 VPS from hostgator , and i want to know how to set it up so like when i shut down my computer , xammp , no-ip and my distro so they still run even when i shut down my computer. Here read my mail i got!

Start > All programs > Accessories > Remote Desktop Connection > write the ip of your VPS (numeric) e.g 64.186.130.175 > Connect > Write your admin name and your password.
