Setting up server in ubuntu

Hello everyone, recently I've grown very fond of Ubuntu, but I'm still new to it. I have a machine running Ubuntu and I have a tibia server that me and a friend have out a lot of work into. I was wondering how to transfer the server from windows 7 to Ubuntu and keep all the work we have done. The Ubuntu machine will be my dedicated hosting computer. Thanks in advance and sorry if I'm in the wrong place, couldn't find any help searching either.

Can you please elaborate? Is that a form of ssh? If so I need to know how to run the server and set it up on Ubuntu.

you have to install a few things in ubuntu, its hard to do it alone for the first time, you need a hand from someone from ot used linux before.
