Shirako ~Mapping Thread~

Whenever i make a cool map, i'm like: That's looking good! I did a good job on this one! Then i found this post yesterday and i realized how bad i actually am at mapping. Keep it up, great maps, all of them. Even tried to add some of the things you do to my maps :P

I am sorry, we got some delay issuess.. Shirako the picasso entered (last time i spoke him) in some crazy void. According to the legend, picasso rips a hole in to the universe, so he can step in to the void, and get inspired by the color schemes of explosion.

Please hold on, picasso will be back soon.

Btw if you read this, come online need to sent you a payment which i am waiting for days xD

well done, i'll like too much to see a minimap or some editor picture to see how this is built in its extension, understand the playability of that zone.
i just like a lot the use of these asphalt/stone ground too, borders allows some very refined irregularity, fit very well the dungeon theme or ruined paths.
i've seen your maps, so good, very creative. pleasure to visit here.

... and hope you have a sucessful journey though the void.

Your maps encourages me to try out the map editor, but I have no idea how to begin with, like, is there some tutorial that explains how to have the lastest sprites? like those on your maps for example, I'm really willing to begin mapping but i need some help cuz im A LITTLE IGNORANT when it comes to that subject
 
It looks really good indeed. I know you have a habit of placing those wooden planks here and there and they do look good... but what city has that many wooden planks lying around? Doesn't seem like the city is under construction either, it's pretty well built with nice architecture. I bet the builders would've taken their planks home after finishing a house.

Ya know, sometimes (okay okay.. always xD) I'm getting lazy while detailing such huge areas, so I simply choose bunch of details and place them randomly everywhere in a way it looks good in my eyes. You can always find some explanation why there are so many wooden planks. I prefer this than placing some random items which don't make sense at all.
 
324 and 329 looks awesome! I mean.. all your maps look awesome, but those ones look great. And yes, make a speed-mapping video!
