Should i get windows 7 or XP again?

guys i got 4gb RAM , memory size : 1024 MB

uhmm a real nice computer, that costs about 1000$

so, i guess im going back to XP again right?

Lets see... maybe because vista sucks more dick than you do and windows 7 costs $120.

Windows XP with SP3 wasn't even released until 2008.
Even if you aren't counting minor versions it's still not even 9 years old.
 
I vote for Windows 7 its the best i actuly done some scripting and mapping on it and it helps me do my work faster

It doesn't change the fact that both Vista and 7 are still newer versions of Windows with countless additions and enhancements.

well dude, i mean 4gb ram, and i dont remember its called "vega card" in english, its 1024 mb, it says memory size, in properties , settings, advanced -> general..

That's how much memory your graphics card has - not the amount of RAM in your computer.

I have windows 7 and I had windows vista.
Vista has more bugs than both XP and Windows7.
The bugs that Vista has weren't in XP and they were fixed in Windows 7.

So that takes Vista out of the picture.
Windows 7 would need around 6GB of ram to run smoothly.

A lot of older computers won't even run windows 7.

You can go to ebay and get windows xp for around 20-30 dollars.
There are places you could even get it for free by downloading the iso and burning it to a disk.

There's absolutely nothing wrong in Vista after you install the latest updates - I used it until W7 came out and had zero complaints.
