Shutdown my server

I started my server and logged in, i was testing commands and the one i did was to shutdown the server. I cant log back in now. Can someone help me out?

Start the server back up again, I'd say?

I shut it down and started it back up. I still can't log in with my admin. It's saying that the server is shutdown.
