Hello, my name is Tyler.
I am a twenty year old, junior in college majoring in Business Management.
I have been around tibia for a long time and have decided to build a very strong and strategic team for a few servers and each member will profit from.
This business idea can only work if people show interest. Sigmee in my eyes will be a very amazing profitable
business if we progress in a good way. Apply and show your work!​

Sigmee will consist of three worlds, at the start. The team I put together will work on every single and only that server. Each member of Sigmee will have qualities that they will attribute to the team in a good business fashion, employment will be based on your work and attitude towards our team/servers. Each employee will be paid each week once servers are online, pay will be by what we earn as a company. Which means we will raise and lower wages as we progress through out our wonderful team experience.

We will work through these following clients, and will not go above these set clients.
Tibia Clients
- Tibia Client: 7.4
- Tibia Client: 7.72
- Tibia Client: 8.0
- Tibia Client: 8.6​
We will only work around these four clients, which means we will not use some of these clients for our servers, as of right now we will be building a custom client that will connect to 2 servers. This means those 2 worlds will have to be the exact same client. Our next server will be a higher client that will more than likely be a PvpE or WAR type server for profitable base.

What are you looking for as of right now for Sigmee?​
- 2 Scripers
- 1 Mappers [ Must be able to switch your mapping style from those set clients ]
- Web Designer / Graphic Designer
- 2 Sprite Editor [ This is the most paid for position, you will make a large sum based on your work ]
- Four subjects [ Which means you will be called on for testing, idea and improvement and will be keeping notes on every single update from each person. You will be what determines their pay. ]
- Beta Host Tester [ You will throw up our work online so we can work better, will need to be around enough for us to test our work. You will be a Co-Founder + a permanent employee if you so wished. Cannot be replaced. ]

FAQ​
Q: What makes you think you can be a leader for "Big Developers"
A: When it comes to knowing what sells for Open-Tibia servers, I have worked on plenty
and helped plenty to know exactly what will be a big hit and what won't.

Q: What will you be doing, what will be your contribution to the team/company?
A: I will make sure everyone is doing their jobs, making sure the work area is drama-free with a positive attitude on our work, progress towards our opening day! I will also be paying for dedicated host, counter + managing all payments towards you and your co-workers.

Q: How will we be paid?
A: You will be paid through via paypal, how is based on what we make as a team. Once the server is launched everyone will be a cut of donations through the server. What you make weekly/monthly will be based on what we make as a team. We will be working on three servers, so income shouldn't be to much of a problem. hopefully <---

Q: How can we trust you won't ditch the workers after work being done.
A: Trust will be based on by our first server, which will be the OGNoob server; what we make on that will go towards the payments for your work on Leplex and Xelpel. Once those servers are up and running, payments will automatically be sent through your emails as long as the servers are up.

Q: How will we stay in contact while working?
A: As of right now, we have a 20 slot teamspeak up for us to keep in contact and a website to display our work before adding it into any servers.

Try to get some things done between the bumps in stead of just posting bump, I am sure it attracts more.

By the way, I don't think many, at least from otland, will join your TS for this interview. It is just how it is.
If that is a MUST, I don't think you will see that many applications :/

However, keep going & good luck with the project! :)
 
If only you had started this project a year and a half ago or so I would've def signed up for a scripter position, the clients you're making your project around are the ones I enjoy the most in tibia. It seems OTLand has almost died and it's very sad to see, I hope you find a solid team and we get to try one of the servers you make! Good luck!

Sigmee Team Update: Welcome Chance to the Sigmee team, he will be mapping for the 8.0+ team!
 
IMHO OT is not big enough for building such a big team. From my experience, the best practice is when project is run by 2,MAX 3 persons who know what are they doing and can provide at least 80% of the needs for running the server.

If you want to build such a big team I would recommend to focus on games with way-more playerbase. For example, biggest Minecraft servers hits about 30k ppl online in evenings with income of 500,000 EUR/year.

If you would be successful with small-medium MC server (get about 2-3k players online) I think that team would be happy and motivated to do the work. I would definitely be IN for such an idea.

If such a team will be created in OT, it will be mostly hobby-based and therefore it is hard to call it as 'business'.

Anyway you seems very interested in your field and I wish you good luck with your idea. :)

"500,000 EUR/year." True, but not as much anymore due to Mojang's EULA.


A wise man once said, if you're to build a community, you must be prepared in spending both time, effort and money on it. Getting someone to host a project for you isn't the smartest way to approach your upcoming "issue(s)".
 
Give me 50k euro and I'll write all the scripts for your server, I need 25k up front.
 
Did you just pop up to OTLand all of a sudden?
Do you have a previous user? Previous experience? Or did you just play OTS and decided to make one?

I have been apart of some of the greatest USA servers ever made, usually for mapping.
Servers:
1. UmbysOT
2. Kiwi OT
3. OutCast [7.72 - Custom]

and I was the first person in the 8.54 client era to open NoobWAR level 45 which at the time was the largest populated server... :)

I have experience and I know what it takes to build a server that is both PVP worthy and RPG worthy...
I just need the team to put it together with me.
 
Weird that I haven't heard about you around. Do you have any previous usernames on otland/otfans?
 
Well, they are going to be called Employees because they work for the servers, and they do indeed get paid on what we make as a group.
If they work for each server, we make around 500 a week. Each person will get their fair split of the cash.

Either way, each person would get paid.

You will gather some scripters/mappers/spriters etc, make them work for you with no payments at all until the server is online, you will pay the host (the easiest part) and if it goes well you will MAYBE pay the scripters/mappers/spriters honestly?

In my opnion I call this bullshit.

He won't even pay for the host. He wants someone else to pay for the host, and that person gets "Co-founder/co-owner" or equivalent title.
