Greetings,

As I'm currently looking for a "experienced" mapper I decided to try map some.. It's my complete first time with remere map editor.

I got bored with making the website anyways its 40% done :p

Since theres not shown much interests I guess I will have to learn to map.

First map piece took me 5hours~

tried some things with those archways making some kind of window.. gonna use the smaller ones i think
 
The grass and crystal didnt really fit in the first one, Maybe if you would have added some swamp or grass spots a little bit here and there, and put the grass in those small areas only, it would have look alot better.
I do like the shapes and the walls. Add a little more stone and make it more narrow to move maybe.
Its a good start but I agree with Peroxide, use more rawpalette.
Even If it takes time, its worth it.
Im trying to make alot more of my mapping with raw too. :P
 


anyone help me with the right borders for this mountain/grass piece? can't realy find..
 
Oh well, I apologize for not seeing that you were useing only raw.
Maybe you need some practice.. I dont know.
Are you new to mapping?
