So a friend of mine wanna get into Tibia/OpenTibia

I'd suggest you both make new characters on rl Tibia, on a Non-PvP world.

Level up both and learn him everything until level 100 then learn him the basics of the other 3 vocations (not the one he chose).

You could then eventually begin with something like Shadowcores after that.

Then I think you can do anything. :p

Nice idea but...Hmm wont have the time to lvl up to 100 and played rl only up to 30 myself. Then started with ots :P So I know basicly how everything works but lvling up in RL takes so long xD And I dont bot.

Let him play real tibia on non pvp world so he get's into the game if you need gold on a server tell me where. Let him make lvl 50 then take him to oTS and he is proz

Yeah that's the best thing to do for new players. There is no need to play with a high lvled char, never overlook the basics ... for example I remember I had very fun experiences in rookgaard back in the days :)

Only drawback on pve servers is you'll meet much more botters and believe me it feels a bit awkward to hunt in dungeons with 4 bots running around you. Making friends and human interaction were part of tibia once ...

I totally agree on this with you. My highest rl Tibia char was lvl 30 and yet I spent hours on having fun with my guild, chatting, enjoyed a city house guide tour by some guild mate and returned almost every year since i started in 2008. Even in low lvl I had a hell lot of fun :)

Tibianic is a bit too early tibia client for me. maybe i started in 2008/2009 then. When i was 7 years old

I've got one, level 200ed on optional with a 120 ek(open pvp), 80ms (open pvp) on same account. Then a 145 on open pvp and a 450 ms on (open pvp). All are free accounts, I can borrow you any just send a pm
are u selling the 450 ms?

It's not that hard to level up on real tibia anymore.

Startin out isn't that hard, the game is extremely easy, especially nowadays lol. No one was there to show me how to do anything when I first started and I managed just fine. Don't see why he would want to start playing this game now in 2015 like some have said though since its basically a ruined game. I would say if you and him will be playing Open Tibia a custom server wouldn't be the best type to start him on though imo. Find you a mid to high rate decent rl map to start him on and just hunt together in your most common nooby early on spawns til he gets used to everything and run him around some of the towns and kind of get him familiar with where places are etc, that way he won't be completely lost if you or you both did decide to play real Tibia.

Good luck playing, have fun and sorry he missed out on Tibia's prime years of life! xD

Just play Real Tibia with him if he wants to get into it. You actually level up really fast until level 50 and there is a lot to do.
If you tell him to play a custom server he could aswell just play a different game.

No lol im 17 turning 18 tomorrow^^. I just recall that I started with tibia when I was about 7 or 8 years old. Dunno which client version it was.

If you only have 1-2hours time a day it is.

You are wrong you get an exp boost until level 50 so it won't be a problem tho :P Start Secura I will give you some starting cash
