Some questions.

Greetings OTlanders, Bigstick here - First time poster, Always a Forum lurker.

I come in seek of some general advice on RL Tibia, If you could kindly answer my queries and questions I'd be ever so grateful, I'll also give some Information to back up and help you understand, I think?

Well, Let's get started!

1 - I seem to be stuck between Paladin and Knight, What vocation should I pick?
[Please right Pros/Cons on why you think I should pick that vocation]

2 - I like PvP, But I do get abit down-hearted when everything I earned can get taken away from me by being ''Hunted'' or randomly PK'd, So what world should I pick?

3 - I'll be Free account and I'm looking on good places to hunt from 8-75~
[If you could put these in list order or whatever]

4 - How do I make plenty money? I'm always spending it as It burns a hole in my pocket!

5 - How do I be-friend people on tibia? Being english It is hard making friends as I find most people are from other countries.

6 - The leveling process is slow, How can I keep myself entertained whilst doing this?

Depends on whatever suits you. If you're not wealthy, I'd stick with knight, paladin otherwise. Being a paladin is fun and easy as a low level, whilst knights are not. Though, paladins as a high level is long and boring, knights are FUN and boss. (high level = 150 to me). I noticed that you're going to be free account, my suggestion is stay with knights so you don't have to run into a situation where you have to buy royal spears or assassin stars from other people.

Personally, PVP is better than optional-PVP now. I moved my 156 paladin from PVP to optional because of the power abuse and expensive costs of being killed, but that was before twist of fate. That means, as long as you have twist of fate, you should not fear being hunted or being killed. Result: PVP.

If I were you, this is obviously a wrong path to go. While free accounts is free (duh?), you lack EVERY benefit that a premium player would get. If I were you, to hell with 7 euro, big whoop, get 30 days of premium.

4 - How do I make plenty money? I'm always spending it as It burns a hole in my pocket!

Sometimes you can't always hunt the best things for EXP. I usually hunt monsters that have crap EXP, but GOOD money. Then when I get enough money, I go back to hunting for EXP. So, yeah that means hunting rotworms for as long as you can until you get decent amount of money.

5 - How do I be-friend people on tibia? Being english It is hard making friends as I find most people are from other countries.

Stay on American server, best one for English speaking is Julera or Libera. However, they are both known for high-caliber power abusers, just don't get in anyone's way and you should be fine. Seek for a guild and be active in English Chat. You should use the forums too, but again, WATCH what you say.

6 - The leveling process is slow, How can I keep myself entertained whilst doing this?

The leveling process is INCREDIBLY slow for free account players and it is intended to be like this. I would just keep exploring, that will keep you occupied. Do quests every once in awhile. Go kill a level 8 noob in Thais troll caves once a week.

Can you explain Optional-PvP a little more to me? Can I still be randomly PK'd or such? And I have no Idea what Twist of fate is because I haven't played since 2008 :\

I know I lack alot of beneifits, I love being premium but I simply cannot get it, My dad gets moody If I ask him because he doesn't like me playing games so much [LoL] If only it could be brought by SMS :\

I'll check out Julera and Libera, But if they are littered power abuses then I'd be afraid to step outside the DP! I'm always active on forums on my phone so that's good but I won't go insulting anyone

Quests seem to be enjoyable Yea, So I might give that a chance , Ty I'd rather kill a known botter or such, Atleast I know then I'll get some decide loot ;P

I know what you mean, uhh usually if you're English there should be a lot of other English people online because of the timezone, but
there is still a fuckin shitload of br's. So just look for anyone who speaks english.

1-Each voc is good, and each have their weakness.

knight:
+new spells
+cap
+hp
-mp
-skilling slower than palladin(in fighting)

palladin
+spells
+dmg on low lv
+mp
+/-faster but expensiver skilling
+nowadays palladin can block as good as knight does...

2- antica is quite a nice world, its pvp but not many pk's down there.

3-as facc, i would make a knight, get nice skill and eq and nerd mintwallin ;D
So my list of where and on what:
First of all, try to get 40/40 skills on island of destiny, how to do it? train on dwarfes and when they got red/dark red hp lure them till they "poof" in this way you wont get exp but ull be able to stick on island much longer, this spot is best to train up. After getting skill u shud have max lv 9

9-13 dwarfs near kazzo or trolls in ab'dendriel. Nice cash in both ways, both drops food so always u can train ur mlvl also.

My advice is to train till 55/55, with eq like k set, crown shield, steel axe (axes are da best!) you can go for cyclopes with hp pots. Ive done such thing and in 7 hours of pg at mount sternum i reached 21 lvl. (manually ofc)

21-30 Dwarf soldiers/mino tower(-1 floor) near kazordoon or elvenbane near ab'dendriel, you can also stay on cyclopes, but imo better to go kaz or elvenbane due to ca$h and lootbags.

After you reach 30 lvl and you will have about 61 skills, seek for someone who can make you monk, or make it on mc ^^ and try to skill up till let's say 70/70

30-50 Mintwallin, sick cash bro sick cash! by making lootbags and collecting minotaur horns you can roll very big money! my friend used to ekhm, bot there, after a night on them he always had 70k~+, mostly cash was from horns.

After you will get cashy, you can try to buy pacc for gp's ^^ another good cashy spot for knight is trapwood in port hope, there are shitloads of dworces.

As pacc, i would make palladin, try to get 60 dist asap, take your spears and rape cyclopes till 25. best spot for it is obviously mistrock! but you will firstly need to make quests "in service of yala".
You can also go in other way and move to port hope and rape crocodiles-task
they bring also nice cash but i like to rape cyclopes so i mostly choose the first option, so up to you.

25-40 tarantulas in port hope-task. That's a very nice task, each time you kill 300 tarantulas you get ability to kill hide, which is tarantulla boss, it drops k legs-5/7k terra hood 2,5k time rings 1,2/1,5k. max 500 gold and steel helmets.
When i calculated while hunting them, average i dropped 1 tarantula egg per 8 tarantulas, 1 egg is about 80 gp in port hope so its also bringing you nice cash.

40-45 go hunt dworces, it will boost ur cash with minimum use, they are weak, have low hp and drops much money altho they dont drop food so best if you equip yourself in 100 brownies(1k) be warned about dworces voodomasters, they can turn on invisible and drunk you hard so if u see them, make em down first!
On lower floors of trapwood you can meet tarantulas so you can also make another tasks while grind on dworces
If you got good mlvl like 11+ you can bring some gfbs tho idk if you will profit then but exp will go faster(if used clever) still dworces are weak to fire.

After getting sick cash+at least 75 distance you can go for dragons, tho they will bring you more often a waste than profit, its still nice and very entertaining way of hunting.

5- antica is mostly ruled by poland, sweden and some of br, if you like br's go ab'dendriel it's like their town (always like 7+br players)

6-every level up go wank hehe But seriously, exp on low lvls is always booring, i by myself when i were doing tasks, from time to time i hunted some carniphillas or vywerns in ph, its always some fun but really, friends are must have, if ull got noone to talk with, ull die from boringness, at least i have such feelings.
