Lua Spell Effect

Hi,
Is there anyone who could explain me how to get that kind of spell effect?
The idea is to spell was "single", not grating. (Like in normal Tibia)

Its only sample of this effect. I found it on web. My question is what i need to do to get this effect?
I mean,
For example:
I want to have spell with "circle" effect (Like on the screen) and in that area of this circle should be damage.
So, want to have a spell looking like one sprite (Like a circle on the screen).
Bad eng - Sorry, I hope u understand what I mean ^^
