[SPRITING] Problem with adding Sprites

Hey guys

I succesfully added some sprites...I wanted to have some other sprites form the internet and I found this one:

But If I want to add this sprite and I create it ingame the background is always pink... what is my problem?

It's a .jpg sprite, it should be .png or .bmp.
And use this for color

Could the problem be that the background colour isnt exactly the same colour as the other sprites have?

It says .jpg when I look at the info of the sprite:

And use the same pink as the other sprites have, then it can't go wrong.

You must use PNG or BMP to save the file so it guarantees all the pixels original colors, something that JPG don't do

That's probably because your background isn't invisible, the invisible color in tibia is Red: 255, Green: 0, Blue: 255, like the image that Forsakenfate posted

But with gimp I cant change the colour to the exactly colour could you change the background for me please?

I would have to resprite it, because of .jpg it's very blurred and won't look nice ingame.

I couldn't totally resprite it so it's still blurred here and there but I don't know how the original might have looked.
So I just made the outlines more visible and gave the right pink colour:
But for perfect quality you need the .png or .bmp version.
