Spriting Tutorials?

Me and my friend have made some cool sprites (we think ) and we are looking for a tutorial on how to add them into gameplay.

"yea guides for adding item sprites to a item script and into a client
i know u need a custom client if ur adding custom sprites"

Does anyone know of one, or how to do this?
