Stair Problem!

my problem is i can exani hur down at the side of the stair.
And when i am down at the right floor i can go up the stairs.
But i cant go down the stair and that is the problem. help plx

You haven't placed a ground-tile under the stair, that's why.

Im beginner at this. so i must ask what is that ?

Before you place the stair, put a grass tile or whatever at the place where you want the stair, and then put the stair on top.
