Lets discuss some star wars here!

For the new one, "The Force Awakens".

What do you rate it?
Story: 1-10
Effects: 1-10
Sounds: 1-10
Characters: 1-10
WARNING! Do not spoil any details except small talk what you thought about it, do not mention anything that happens.

And other,
Have you seen all previous movies?
Of those you've seen, what did you think about them?
 
I haven't seen the newest one yet, but I'd really like to, but I'm going to wait until it's released as DVD/BlueRay as I do with all movies xD
I have movie system with 120 inch screen, full HD ofc.. and I hate going to the cinema because annoying people, and you can't take a piss if you want to unless you don't mind missing anything.

But in others, I've seen the old films.
IMO they suck (compared to todays standard). But I think they're awesome because how well made they are considering the age they came from.
The effects are better in Star Wars from the 70's than the early X-Men film has that's from 2000! (but yes I like X-men films too)

My favorites are from movie 1, there Anaki gets introduced (The Phantom Menace).
But I don't like the second one very much thou (Attack of the clones).. not very interesting to me :(
But I really loved the third one (Revenge of the Sith), there Anaki starts to show some real nice powers, and also I like how they bitch at each other and do generally dumb stuffs :P
Pretty sad when the "order 66" was executed :(

Well ive seen all the star wars movies but didnt watched this one yet but ive heard there is no luke skywalker tho

But to be honest... Darth Maul should have last longer it was so cool

I'm not sure of the status of this film.. if it's supposed to be how it was between "revenge of the sith" and the movies from the 70's...
or if it's how it was after the films of the 70's..

But I guess it's supposed to tell the story between the sith one and the first film from the 70's, like the 3 other films from the 2000's :p

Agree, Maul should have got away or something hehe, most badass character in star wars ever :P
 
Worst star wars movie they could ever make, Really fucking dissipointed. Had nothing to do with the story. This movie is so off topic its pathetic and just make you sad :(

So you'd describe it like "look how cool effects we can do!! fuck the story, lets show them effects!!"?

Like Iron Man 2... I see entire that film like "look how great we are and how nice effects we can do!!".
I didn't see any good story behind it at all :(

Not what I expected tbh. Pretty bad story... everything happens so fast with no content not even a single epic laser fight
 
I agree with you, but why the film went over 1 billion dollars?
 
Story: 6/10
Effects: 9/10
Sounds: 9/10
Characters: 8/10

Since the story is the most important thing of a movie, I'll give this movie a 7,8.
And alot of characters just didn't make any sense... Like "Finn" and "Captain Phasma"...

idk, phasma kinda made sense, but you're right about finn. He's the main character and has almost no character development whatsoever. The rest of it was pretty spot on though.
