Starting EQ - how?

My chars got no starting EQ and I can't logon the samples, they're kinda locked or something..

What should I do ?
 
You could use a mod

Save as firstitems.xml in folder /mods/
 
OK.. done that now.
So when the people logon for the first time they'll have their EQ?
Even if they made their acc yesterday (they didn't logon)
 
I made a new char now and when I did it that char has EQ.
so my problem is:
Characters made before I added this mod got no EQ (that's negative)
Characters made after I added this mod have EQ (that's positive)

So is there a way to update it or reset them?
