I have a survey that I need to take in a small school project in my awesome class.
I don't know how many schools have this kind of class, but if there is such class, I highly recommend taking it.
It's a class on survival of the fittest, it goes through scenarios on pre/post-apocalypse, financial ruin, corruption, living in the wild and so on.
So, for my survey, I chose to do a topic on financial ruin, considering that is more likely to occur nowadays.
The question is, how would you continue to live your life while you're in financial ruins?
Q: What do you mean by financial ruin?
A: If you're broke, lose your job, husband/wife divorces you, or any other situation that results you in a lifestyle where you have very minimal or no money at all.
Scenarios:
Living on the streets being a beggar:
You decide to live in an alley or some place near your closest major city.
You wake up every morning hoping someone that walks by you would give you money.
Living in the wild:
You become a hunter and gatherer in some remote land, far away from any other people.
You find/build shelter, hunt/skin animals for food and clothing. You risk your life against nature.

Living as a criminal:
You rob stores, you rob banks, you go home to home and rob their belongings.
You run as far as you can and live like a beggar, somewhere in alleys or abandoned homes.
You risk your life since you're a fugitive (you can get shot), but you at least have a back-up survival plan: see Life as a prisoner.

Life as a prisoner:
You would commit a crime and easily surrender yourself to the police.
Depending on your country, you would live in prison because you get free food, free shelter, and last but not least, free medical care.
You risk your life being in prison. You may be raped, beaten, or even killed.

Live as a low-budget worker:
You seek for a small job to earn money. Such jobs are being a yard worker/gardener, janitor, prostitute and other lame jobs.
You earn enough money to live in a trailer park or a small apartment. You live life as someone who wears the same clothes, poor hygiene, live on snacks/garbage food.
