First of all GL to create a custom client that will prevent botters.
Second. Theres no 100% bot proof system. If you want i can create a char and bot until you ban me. Because your script wont ban me.

Hello Tarek 1337, not sure where you read that we are creating a costum client preventing botters?
Statement made is that we are going to ban any type of botters/hackers.

The scripts running will not ban you, on their own Tarek.
The scripts will highlight players that are following a suspicions pattern.
The highlights are displayed to the server administration which will inspect the behavior visually and textually, thereafter a decision made.

He's refering to the 8.6 client. That version is the one with the most bots since alot of bots that are now free worked in 8.6 but do not work in the newer version. If you really want a server without bots, don't use 8.6

Hello stelli, that cleared up some things.

To answer question;
The 8.6 client is known for its cheats, yes, still a great version. Cheating is not OK on the server, yet you will not get instantly banned because suspicious pattern takes a while to build up.
Highlighted potential cheaters will be investigated as for now daily and banishment is what they get.

Can use either of them or both. Does not matter. It is a simple thing that can be implemented if the community of the server so wishes.
I will do my best to communicate with the community and hear them out, for now we have a forum only.

Thanks Tarek for the nice offer. My only issue is time, since I also work.

Off-topic hehe
I could start right now to develop (set it up, mostly) it but I'm sitting on two other dev projects (nothing to do with Tibia) that pay my living (therefor no shop (p2w) needed on this server, because I don't scam people, just want them to enjoy/improve the realm together with me).

Maybe I'll do it right now =)

My thoughts though, can anyone help out / share there experience with gaining a player base?
