Talaturen! noob C++ Question

Well i dont want to sound like a noob, but i am, so may i ask what the advantage to all the "break"'s are that you put everywhere in the last few revisions?

again, if you dont want to bother explaining, just put some sort of reply so i know you read it and thats good enough for me. but if there is some great reason i would like to be educated.

so the break statements keep the program from continually looking over and over for certain conditions, and instead moves on?
