Compiling TFS 0.4 bug

All the luminable itens (the itens who the player can carry, like torch, frozen starlight, lantern) are with an error:

I discovered the REAL bug. The real problem is: all luminable itens are with problem. The light stay in player. All the luminable itens: lantern, torch, frozen starlight, solar axe. Only re-loging the light get out. I think the problem is at the sources.


It's a real problem to all people who uses this version of TFS.

OBS: I know it is into the sources because when I change the distro the bug disappear.

You are saying that when you equip a "light" and later de-equip it the light stays on?

Yes. When I equip an item like torch, solar axe, and later de-equip the light stays on.

I'm using the rev 3884 for my 8.6 server.
Here is a more actual revision for 0.4 version?

3777 is not hard to find but 3884 shuld be the best one.
Gonna check if i have the same issues soon!

Yes, check it and see if you have the problem.
But now someone had an idea how to correct it?

If you are using linux use 3777 and if you are using windows use 3884, those versions are the only ones for 8.60. There is a much better rev for 8.60 but its on the premium board.

Oh, no. I want the correction for the torchs for my REV 0.3.6 or 3884. Why... Why this is happening with me? Without that, my server is nothing.

bump. i also have this problem. needs source work i think but i dont know where to start
you click on the torch, the light is on then it stays on even if you de-equip it

There are no better then 3777 and 3884.
The 5xxx are alot of work to get working and then some more..
+ 3777 / 3884 is more stable.

I would only reccomend 5xxx to someone if i wanna earn alot of money to get the server working.

Both ways, one earns one spends.
I have no problem converting ots to diffrent revs and alot of ppl who have been here from the 0.2 > 0.3 time knows how to.
And its just stupid to use 5xxx for an ot thats 8.60, mainly due to allt the things you have to change.
Alot easier to use 3777 or 3884 that are just as stable if not more stable.
