Hello i am using tfs 0.4 8.6 forgotten i had many problem but i solved them but i cant really solve 2x problems!

The players start without items tried with another startitems.xml wont work!

second problem when the player loggin he goes to a randomly pos near temple i changed the temple pos of the city in map editor and in config lua but i do not use acc manager i am using gesior 1.0. i changed also in the php admin for voc sample stil same problem anyone out here please!

I'm not an expert of Gesior but since i know the starting items and position is a configuration Gesior.
So you should look in the gesior config files.

No you port your server to 1.2 insted of 0.4, then you will get better support.
There is no reason to use 0.x anymore now when we have 1.2 8.60.

dont think the serv is the prob wasting time to try run the server on another tfs idk
