I wonder if it is possible to convert the source TFS 1.2 to version 7.6

Ninja has downgraded TFS 1.2 to 8.6 & 8.0

It is absolutely possibly to downgrade to 7.6 - you just need to do it, or find someone willing to do it for you =]
